I truly believe that we all have the capacity to glow
I believe we are born with a certain resonance of light and natural luminescence. Our light may become dimmed or hidden so that we feel completely disconnected from it, but it is always there, shining steady at our centre. We just need to know how to navigate our way back to it.
I completed my first 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2008 in Camden, London. It was a time of real transition for me; working in advertising and with a 'work hard / play hard' attitude to life. But underneath it all, I was suffering with crippling anxiety.
Yoga, Meditation and other holistic practices gave so much back to me - they gave me the tools and knowledge I needed to manage life's inevitable ups and downs (and believe me, I had tried many other methods until I finally found my way onto the yoga mat!). From then, I have never looked back. So after qualifying and attending my first yoga retreat in 2009 in Ibiza, my love story with this magical island began. The transition was almost complete and I moved here full-time in 2010.
These wonderful practices have taken me to India, Bali and and other places around the world. In terms of my internal journey, I have navigated the space to make healthy and empowered choices for my life. The practice still grounds me and helps to align the different parts of me when I need to soothe and calm myself. Yoga uplifts and energises me to move through life with more ease and, I hope, a tiny bit of grace too!
The practices I learned were - and still are - the foundations of my work on retreat. I love to share this within my life path and I love to empower others to find their paths too.
For me, the ancient practice of Yoga is the Magic Key to easing the pressures of modern life.
I never imagined I would become a Yoga teacher.
My background was a high-voltage city life with a full-on career in London & Paris as a fashion writer and stylist. You wouldn’t have got me on a yoga retreat
for love nor money!
But as I worked my way through life and eventually became a mother of two, I found myself with a lack of clear direction and questioning all the life-choices (apart from motherhood) that I had made to date.
I’d practised yoga in the past but I never really ‘got it’ until the bottom fell out of my world and I found myself as a single mother, stressed, feeling broken and at a complete loss of knowing where to go next.
Yoga & meditation became my anchor that gave me stability in a rough & rocky sea. I returned to my yoga mat and found a sense of calm and tranquillity that had been so lacking in my life until then.
My practice supported me through the breakdown of my original family unit and the building of another, along with the shock of an unexpectedly early menopause.
The strength & confidence I gained from my Yoga practice ultimately inspired me to retrain & educate myself in many other areas & facets of wellbeing. It led me to uncover more and more layers to my sense of self until I felt like I was finally getting closer to the real me who I had been disconnected from for so long.
Today, my greatest pleasure & purpose is guiding & supporting others who feel they have lost that crucial connection to who they really are;
to help them rediscover their own sense of purpose and passion for life - and to make the route back to happiness as fun and as joyful as it can be!

Our retreats are not a heavy, 'deep-dive' into questioning every aspect of your life or the world we live in.
In our experience, we find that the profound 'Aha' moments come from the simple things, like being able to slow down for a bit, taking some time for stillness & solitude, but blending this with the beautiful alchemy of coming together with a group of like-minded people in an environment of relaxed fun & pure joyfulness.
We hope you'll join us on Glow!
